CONDIOS Entertainment is dedicated to distributing faith-based and family-friendly films throughout Australia and New Zealand. We know movies are a powerful medium that touch hearts, and are fully committed to releasing films that have a positive impact.

Our licences enable you to charge admission if you wish and to fully promote the film with posters and flyers. You can also sell copies of the DVD at the event.

By purchasing a public screening licence, you can legally and ethically host public showings, which are otherwise strictly limited to home use. It is the perfect way to encourage others to come to your church and enjoy an evening with you to watch a top quality, positive film. Your organisation is supplied the DVD as well as the materials (posters, leaflets, tickets) to easily and affordably promote the event.

For both churches and CONDIOS it is a powerful and effective way to engage and inspire and fulfil the Great Commission.

Churches, Movies and the Law

The Copyright Act stipulates that pre-recorded videos and DVDs are authorised for personal home use only. Special permission must be granted for any public performance, including in churches. Violations can result in substantial fines. Applying for a public performance licence is simple and affordable. It ensures the screening is legal and ethical and importantly, it also means that you are supporting the continued release of quality, faith-based, morally sound films.

How much does it cost?

Please contact CONDIOS for more details. In general, there is a fee of $29.95 for which you get the DVD and promotional materials. If you not want the DVD and the promotional materials this fee can be waived. In addition, there is a $3.30 (incl GST) fee per head. This is for people who are watching the film and doesn't include children who are colouring-in at your feet. A screening for children of a children's film may have different costings.
